Throughout my career I ventured within General Management, as well as in the dynamic fields of Information Security, assuming influential positions in Business Development, Communications, and Technical/Product Marketing. All for both large corporations and small international firms. Over time, I have developed a genuine passion for Operational Excellence, realizable Strategy, and, most significantly, collaborating with a diverse array of inspiring individuals with whom I have had the pleasure of working. It was enjoyable (well, at least for the most part) because collectively, we could propel progress in the areas of Information Technology, envision the future, and explore innovative avenues to advance a conscientious and responsible business. Wow, lousy time flies! Yes, time flies by so quickly! We've all heard it said countless times, but it truly hits differently when experienced firsthand. And now? Seniority or simply old? Suddenly, I stand on the brink of retirement, and my fervor for making meaningful contributions remains steadfast. During the last years I became increasingly aware of the many narratives, aka fiction, weaving a crucial red thread across my life. Thus, I'm inclined to delve deeper into this, fiction, discipline. Let me indulge in a bit of enthusiasm regarding the realm of literature. My heart is tuned to the ever-evolving turns in life. I find pleasure and a certain fulfillment in reading, creating, and narrating its tales. Cherishing the moments where vulnerability and strength intertwine. I eagerly anticipate continuing my journey as a professional storyteller, venturing into the art of recording audiobooks, being inspired, and offering fresh and hopefully inspiring perspectives to those I encounter. At SAP global headquarters, my focus is on the definition and execution of the overall, external communication for SAP's Security and Data Protection & Privacy (DPP) areas. Providing analysis and understanding of the market forces in the areas of Security and DPP, including the analysis of customer expectations and consumption/behavior models, and also sharing insight on industry technology trends, are major tasks of my job to address the most relevant topics in this wide area for SAP, its customers and other business partners. Managing revenue-related global initiatives across various industries and lines of businesses, including the development and communication of SAP's external Security Messaging & Positioning are further exciting activities of my areas, as this affects the reputation and success of SAP - seen as a trusted innovator, and the leading company for business-critical applications in the global market space.
Responsible for the global marketing activities of SAP's security product lines, SAP's product security area, and the security-relevant domain of SAP's technology platform. Activities include customer engagements, messaging & positioning, roll-in / roll out initiatives, market research/analysis, identify new market opportunities, as well as representing a media/analyst spokesperson for the above mentioned areas.
Provide insight and anylysis of the market forces, buying behaviors and technology trends affecting the success of NetWeaver and SOA in the Midsize Enterprise market segment, across various industries. Develop and drive messaging and positioning. Lead cross-functional teams to develop revenue initiatives for NetWeaver for Midsize Enterprises.
