I support the implementation of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) activities within the Mangwana Programme, contributing to private sector development and sustainable agricultural growth initiatives across the Beira Corridor in Mozambique. Currently engaged in the design and management of field research and monitoring systems, data collection tools, and reporting frameworks to support grant-funded enterprises operating in the agriculture and food sectors across Manica and Sofala provinces. Key responsibilities include: - Designing digital tools and methodologies for field data collection and performance monitoring. - Coordinating and managing field and office-based research teams to ensure effective data collection, reporting, and operational execution. - Leading collaboration with teams responsible for the development of digital monitoring and reporting solutions - Supporting grant reporting, data quality assurance, and results tracking for partner enterprises. - Assisting in the monitoring of market systems and smallholder-inclusive agricultural interventions - Developing data visualization dashboards and analytical reports using Looker Studio and Power BI. - Building operational monitoring applications using AppSheet to improve data accessibility and field coordination. - Supporting evidence-based decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and learning processes. - Conducting field monitoring activities and stakeholder engagement across target districts.

As a MEAL & Data Supervisor at the provincial level, my main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - Ensuring the full implementation of the micro National Monitoring and Evaluation Plan in Manica Province (Sussundenga), in close coordination with National MEAL Coordinators and the MEAL Manager. - Designing and implementing comprehensive M&E plans for forest ecosystem restoration projects, ensuring relevance, feasibility, and alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. - Overseeing data collection activities, including performance indicators, outputs, and impacts, using both quantitative and qualitative methods such as remote sensing, direct observation, interviews, and surveys. - Analyzing data to assess project progress, identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to improve forest restoration interventions, reporting to MEAL Coordinators. - Monitoring forest restoration progress against defined milestones and timelines, and providing timely updates to the management team. - Supervising and supporting Field Monitors, strategically assigning roles based on individual skills and resources required for effective implementation. - Preparing regular M&E reports for MEAL Coordinators, clearly communicating results, lessons learned, and challenges encountered. - Ensuring data quality and integrity through standardized data collection protocols, validation and verification procedures, and compliance with ethical and safety standards. - Recommending training and technical guidance for field staff on M&E methodologies as needed, promoting local capacity development.
Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the full implementation of annual MEAL activities at the provincial level. - Monitor and enforce submission deadlines for Provincial Supervisors. - Oversee the proper maintenance and accuracy of the MEAL database. - Identify, analyze, and report complex key performance figures submitted by Supervisors. - Design and implement databases and data collection systems that enhance the efficiency and quality of both ongoing and planned activities. - Support Provincial Supervisors in developing restoration strategies and organizing community workshops within the M&E framework. - Interpret and analyze data using statistical methods and provide regular progress reports.
As a Supervisor, my main mission was to ensure the full implementation of the Annual Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for the socio-economic impact study, under the guidance of the National Survey Coordinator. The goal was to understand the real impact of the project on the lives of both directly and indirectly assisted households. Key Responsibilities: - Supervised field teams conducting pre- and post-intervention surveys across communities engaged in restoration activities. - Reported on field activities led by Enumerators and Regional Supervisors. - Built and strengthened high-performing teams through regular capacity-building trainings. - Collected first-hand qualitative insights from household testimonies to enrich impact assessments. - Analyzed and validated weekly summary reports submitted by Enumerators. - Supported the National Survey Coordinator in identifying and training Enumerators across various regions. - Designed complex digital survey forms using tools like ODK, Enketo, and Kobo Toolbox, and developed interactive reports via Google Data Studio. - Ensured adherence to the organization’s code of conduct among all field teams. - Maintained strong collaboration with local authorities, promoting the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Reporting to the Global Shelter Cluster (GSC), the International Federation of Red Cross (IFRC), and the Mozambican Red Cross (CVM), I supported shelter coordination efforts in Sofala Province following post-disaster reconstruction needs. Key Responsibilities: - Provided direct support to shelter coordination activities at the provincial level, reporting to Cluster Coordinators. - Delivered oral and written translations during Cluster meetings and translated technical documents and guidance materials. - Collected, organized, and shared sector data using 4W and 5W tracking spreadsheets. - Developed visual reports using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau to communicate key shelter activity figures to the GSC and stakeholders such as IOM. - Maintained ongoing communication with implementing partners and government bodies, including DPOPHRHM, GREPOC, INAS, and INGD. - Led post-disaster reconstruction support activities by assisting IOM Mozambique in managing beneficiary cases reported through the Green Line, coordinating with multiple implementing partners (GSC, IFRC, CVM).
