The full portfolio in country included all therapeutic areas covering Aesthetics, Ophthalmology and Specialty Care. • Lead the ANZ leadership team as well as a member of APAC regional leadership team. • Full risk and compliance/governance responsibility for the two countries. • Recognised for best global launch of Belkyra. ANZ beat budget estimates and sales exceeded total EU sales. • Built a strong new management team • Created the first strategic account co-signed deal across International. This encompassed co-marketing investments and a deal worth over $9 million. This is to date the largest deal of its kind in Allergan for Coolsculpting. Working at both the Institute of Medical Genetics in Cardiff, Wales, UK and Royal Brisbane Hospital, Queensland, Australia. Understanding the genetics and heritability of cardiomyopathies. Using numerous biotechnologies such as SSCP, PCR etc. Other investigations included animal studies (implanting pacemakers and surgery) and human clinical investigations including echocardiography. Research was based on uncovering the polymorphisms responsible for cardiomyopathies. Key achievement was the discovery of a gene responsible for a rare type of conductive deficiency dilated cardiomyopathy.
