I was an Integral team member in sustainable deploying BOS (BHP Operating System) at the Jimblebar Operation. Key Achievements: ✔️ Successfully implemented and optimized COVID controls at Newman Airport, resulting in letters of recognition and thanks from airport management. ✔️ Provided aerial reconnaissance using a drone to assist WA Police with a body recovery at Opthalmia Dam. ✔️ Received internal award for my role in the rescue and treatment of a severely burned exploration driller. ✔️ Represented BHP as a team member in the Mining and Emergency Rescue Competition. ✔️ Led the successful deployment of 5S for the mining Drill and Blast Team, resulting in improved safety and efficiency.
► As a Maintenance Planning Lead, I led a team of high-performing individuals, including 3 Maintenance Planners and a Standardised Work Specialist. Together, we worked to effectively plan and execute fixed plant maintenance in a safe and efficient manner. This included utilising our expertise in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure all equipment was operating at optimal performance levels and minimising unplanned downtime. Role duties included: • Assisted Maintenance Manager with shutdowns, parts, resources, and work scheduling in accordance with BHP policies and procedures. • Demonstrated visible safety leadership through participation in safety meetings, interactions, and initiatives. • Built strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and departments. • Communicated and set targets and expectations in line with site and Mining Production Department goals and BHP values. • Promoted adherence to OHS&E procedures, guidelines, and controls across site.
▶︎ As a Long-term Mining Maintenance Planner, I was responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans for mobile mining equipment. I closely collaborated with management and operational teams to ensure that the equipment was operating within budget while still achieving required availability targets. I attended safety and operational meetings with business and contracting stakeholders, providing guidance and support as needed. I managed the planning and scheduling of all work in accordance with 1SAP work management processes, and liaised with mechanical, mine planning and project engineers to ensure the completion of daily work and project scopes.
