Gerold Huber

Roboticist and Control Engineer

About

I received my BSc in Mechatronics from the Management Center Innsbruck (Austria) in 2011 and my Dipl.-Ing. in Mechatronics, specializing on Robotics and Control Engineering, from Johannes Kepler University (Linz, Austria) in 2014. From 2015 to 2021 I joined the Chair of Control Engineering (Prof. Martin Buss) at the Technical University of Munich (Germany). During this time period, I worked on several industrial as well as European research projects centered around Human--Robot Collaboration, focusing on the robotic manipulation tasks. I published my work in several international conferences and journals, and summarized the findings in my dissertation with the title "Advances Towards Agile and Reactive Dynamic Robot Manipulation in Human--Robot Collaboration Contexts". After my academic journey, I joined Agile Robots AG in Munich, where I am finally able to combine my expertise in control systems with my passion for clean software development.
