Germán has twenty nine (29) years of professional experience in business, engineering services and construction. He has been leader of the Engineering & Construction Department of Management Projects for major water infrastructure projects, railway projects, renewable energy project and mining as the leader of the Contracts Department which include FRANKE Project, the Hipógeno Project, Casale Project, Pascua Lama Project, EWSE and others. Additionally, Germán has managed many successful infrastructure projects as the chief of construction and Projects for Essel, Essbio and ANSM, companies members of OTPP, Canada. Professional background includes participation as a representative in several studies of technical standards such as waste water and drinking water pumping stations, steel pipe coatings and operating pressures and volume of water pond regulations
Responsible for photovoltaic renewable energy projects in Chile
Responsible for the biggest one contract belongs the TAM project, sxope of work a bridge over Mapocho river, three hundre meters lenght. Achievement included progress on line the schedule, very good community relationships during contract execution, final cost behind budget definition.
EWSE Project: Leader for the bid process Construction Contract, belonged to Escondida Water Supply Expansion (EWSE) Project, where Black & Veatch was the agent for the Project to BHP. The bid process were done on schedule and the commercial offers awarded was lower than the budget. Once the construction contract awarded, my role was manage the service contracts from home-office. Electromobility Project: My role was do the prequalification process with differents brands in Chile with electrical cars and trucks. The Project finished with a contract with an electrical car supplied by a brand in Chile.
