Responsible for the strategic direction and execution of the site’s Mechanical Integrity (MI) program.
Responsible and accountable for the Mechanical Integrity of Piping systems and overall compliance of the program to HSES and Good Engineering standards. Implementing inspection strategies, strategic planning of inspections and inspection programs, standards, support of detailed failure analysis, inspection, and recommendation review. Management of systems to ensure overall health of piping systems and risk adequately mitigated to enable safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the facility, delivering higher OEE and fewer LOPC incidents. Implementation and sustainability of asset management strategies, which include but are not limited to FMEA, RCM, RCAs, Criticality Assessment, PM management strategies and predictive/preventative inspection technology. Participation in various standard committees to represent and further improve reliability at the facility with execution of valuable reliability improvement recommendations via effective project management. Work with third party consultants to establish a comprehensive piping inspection program. Ensure inspection plan compliance. Maintenance Engineer Engagement to consult on scope of inspection and recommendation as it pertains to piping. Actor as a resource for corrosion mitigation, defect analysis, monitoring, and inspection of pipelines. Conducts and or participates in risk assessment of pipelines. Review site information concerning assigned analysis activities and to obtain any additional information needed to understand the problem and the required solution. Diagnoses problems to determine root (RCA - Root Cause Analysis) cause Identifies and obtains assistance (if necessary) to determine the root cause from other departments. Monitors performance of related fixed assets which caused production loss or high risk to identify short and long-term concerns and issue recommendations. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and auditing maintenance department procedures for fixed equipment.

Develop and implement comprehensive Reliability programs, including: Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Mechanical integrity programs Inspection program development Facility or equipment condition assessment Expert application of API codes and technical standards (API 510, 570, 571, 574, 580, and 581) Extract and verify technical data (metallurgy, temperatures, pressures, thicknesses, etc.) from documents such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), engineering construction drawings, and code forms Generate risk profiles for entire operating facilities Effectively organize piping and equipment data and ensure the transfer of data to applicable software Facilitate client validation meetings to ensure accuracy of process data Participate in Asset Optimization studies using primary data sources such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), heat and material balance, P&IDs, and isometrics provided by the client for fixed equipment and piping systems Utilize multiple software solutions to maximize the effectiveness of our services Achieve, maintain and accurately report performance metrics, measuring quality and quantity Collaborate with company Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to leverage internal expertise as need to support projects
Provide coordination and administration for the effective and efficient operation of ESC Region 13, Transformation Central Texas STEM Center, and the assigned areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, primarily T-STEM and STEM.
