Shuaibah III Expansion II SWRO 250,000 m3/d. - SWRO Desalination plant supplying water to Makkah. Capacity of 250,000 m3/day. - Commissioning Process engineer. - Desalination plant operation. Ensure effective and optimal operation of the plant and equipments. - Production planning. Operation performance and energy consumption evaluation. - Operation lead for a team of engineers, operators, maintenance technicians and lab technician. A team of 10 co-workers per shift. Saadiyat District cooling plant provides chilled water to 25 clients (hotel resorts, university, museum), each one with an energy station (plate heat exchangers), includes two cooling plants, two chilled water storage tanks, and two piping networks of 25 km in total. Tasks included: - Plant Operation and Maintenance. - Saadiyat Customer relationship : Follow up of KPIs. Contingency planning. - Due diligence, reviewing of existing installations for taking over two sewage treatment plants (1,500 m3/day, each) in EGA complex.
Fujairah RO desalination plant - 136,500 m3/day. Part of the (back then) largest hybrid desalination plant in the world linked to a 2,000 MW power plant and a 450,000 m3/day thermal desalination plant. Tasks included: - Support to operation manager. Monitor, identify and assist to control plant and process issues. - Cleaning and flushing RO, membranes performance analysis and optimization. - Operation data analysis and elaboration of technical reports, work instructions, operating manuals and dispatch declaration. Monthly KPI report. - Process monitoring and water quality assurance. Laboratory work. - Monitoring process equipment: RO membranes, process pumps, and energy recovery systems. - Overtaking operation of a desalination plant from a competitor in Qatar. Working on BIAs project: Sustainable treatment of wastewater by Salsnes Filter fine mesh sieves and biological processes. Tasks included development of separation technology process, sampling on field, chemical analysis and result analysis. Field mechanical work. Improvements to be implemented on separation technology process. Work location: Aquateam headquarters (Oslo) and Nodre Follo (Oslo wastewater treatment plant). At E.D.A.R. “El Torno” in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz), working hand in hand with Aqualia I+D researchers, on SWAT project (www.swattechnology.no), part of the European FP7 (seventh framework programme, http://cordis.europa.eu/result/rcn/62353_en.html). Tasks included working on design improvements, proposing solutions for energy consumption optimization, research on polymer chemicals properties and applications.
