Project Manager for Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machines from concept phase, through design, development till mass production.
I was responsible for the definition and the implementation of the production and failure analysis process. I have been managing our main supplier for Quality, Yield and Output. I spend more than half the time in Asia (Thailand, Japan and China) with suppliers and customers working on improvements on process, product and schedule. One of many tasks was the implementation of realtime, online reporting what included yield, top failures and also statical data analysis. The statistical data analysis was also part of the test system evaluation and product performance during new product introduction phase. I had to manage our customers to agree on limits and test procedures for production test. The last project at DIS was to lead the test development team to develop a standard for production test software what can be used by the whole team for future developments.
My responsibilities ranged from creating the test specifications till the implementation of final test systems including PCBA test, Cp/Cpk analysis, Gage R&R, technical documentation, standardization of test systems, training of production team and interfacing with the customer on all test related issues. This broad range of responsibility consequently leaded to an improvement of my leadership and business skills as well as my analytical skills.
