As a product manager I was responsible for 22 real-time casual multiplayer games that are enjoyed by over 3m players every day. In this time we've looked deeply at user value and revenue streams and have made changes to optimise the potential within the games to attract users and monetise.
Game Platform is a team central to the core business of game publishing which I had the pleasure of leading for over a year. In this time, I've been responsible for implementing both products and processes to facilitate core processes in Spil Games, ranging from ad solutions to API systems, while ensuring these products were integrated correctly into business processes in Spil.
As development manager of the Services team, I was responsible for creating a team of software engineers to take control of the back-end services that drive the 40+ gaming portals. Transitioning the back-end to a new technology required the recruitment of new team members as well as coaching and training, in addition to aligning the various projects within Spil Tech.
