About

I build brands, grow audiences and create opportunities. Over the last 20 years I've worked across retail, sales, marketing, partnerships and brand development, leading teams, launching businesses and helping organisations grow. I founded The Blankfaces, growing it from a single £30 t-shirt into a nationally recognised social enterprise with a £200,000 turnover, more than 20,000 followers, retail locations in Glasgow and Manchester, and coverage across BBC News, ITV News and BBC Radio 6 Music. More recently I led marketing and communications for Scottish Design Exchange, helping grow audiences from around 4,000 to almost 20,000 followers, supporting major store launches, securing press coverage and contributing to significant online sales growth. Alongside this I founded Motte Nai, a circular fashion brand built around surplus luxury fabrics, conscious redesign and UK manufacturing. I've led teams of up to 28 people, managed retail operations, developed commercial partnerships, delivered successful marketing campaigns and built communities around brands people genuinely care about. I'm always interested in conversations around marketing, partnerships, retail, social enterprise, community engagement and brand growth.
