🇩🇪 Gute Kommunikation schafft Orientierung – besonders im Spannungsfeld von Politik, Wirtschaft und Öffentlichkeit. Ich bin Pressesprecher des Genossenschaftsverbands Bayern (GVB) und verantworte seit 2019 die Medien‑ und Kommunikationsarbeit. Zuvor habe ich über 16 Jahre als Politik‑ und Wirtschaftsjournalist gearbeitet, mehrere davon als Ressortleiter. Diese Perspektive prägt meine Arbeit bis heute: einordnen, zuspitzen, verständlich machen. Inhaltlich befasse ich mich mit politischen Entscheidungsprozessen, internationaler Politik, Handels‑ und Wirtschaftsbeziehungen sowie mit der Rolle von Medien, Narrativen und Institutionen in demokratischen Gesellschaften – mit Fokus auf Europa, die USA und Brasilien. Kommunikation verstehe ich als strategische Teamarbeit, klar, faktenbasiert und ohne PR‑Sprech. I am Head of Communications and Press Spokesperson at the Bavarian Cooperative Association (GVB). Before moving into strategic communications, I spent more than 16 years as a political and business journalist, including several years as a section editor. That background still defines my approach: analysis over messaging. My interests include political decision‑making, international and transatlantic relations, trade and geo‑economics, and the role of media and narratives in democratic societies, with a focus on Europe, the United States, and Brazil. 🇧🇷 Sou porta‑voz e responsável pela comunicação do Genossenschaftsverband Bayern (GVB). Antes disso, atuei por mais de 16 anos como jornalista de política e economia, incluindo vários anos como editor. Essa experiência molda meu trabalho em comunicação estratégica até hoje. As senior editor on the political desk it is my task to select the top news and coordinate the work in the department for politics and economy. Furthermore I coordinate the work of the desk with the other departments of the newspaper group. Interviews with politicians, experts for certain topics, economic leaders are part of the daily work.
As deputy senior editor it was my task to support the senior editor and to coordinate the work of the department. Furthermore, I headed the desk in times of absence of the Senior editor.
