I am currently an undergraduate at Singapore Management University pursuing a degree in Accountancy. My goal is to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to become a Chartered Accountant and contribute meaningfully to the evolving finance industry. I am passionate about being part of the changes shaping finance in the high-tech world and aspire to build a fulfilling and prosperous life with my family in the future. I am often described as a “Jack of all Trades,” having represented in judo, football, swimming, and badminton. Beyond sports, I have developed a passion for learning new languages, including French, Korean, Japanese, and Malay. This interest was sparked when I witnessed a person skillfully resolve a quarrel between two individuals from different countries by translating in Mandarin and French. This experience taught me that learning languages is not only about communication but also about understanding and appreciating diverse cultures and perspectives. • Migrated accounting data from ACCPAC to a new system and set up AR, AP, and General Ledger modules • Set up core financial modules including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger • Processed AR collections, AP invoices, and prepared payment vouchers and cheques
• Perform test of details for headcount reconciliation to ensure costs related to salaries and other benefits are appropriately managed. • Conducted substantive analytical procedures through 3-way matching to ensure accounts payable are complete and free from material misstatements • Conducted detailed casting procedures to verify the accuracy of arithmetic computations in various financial documents • Engaged in client communication to obtain necessary information and clarification on audit-related matters • Utilized audit software tools and technologies (AURA) for data analysis and documentation • Demonstrated a commitment to learning and development by seeking feedback and proactively undertaking on new responsibilities
