In my role as Technical Service Manager I • Was leading a team of 5 product specialists. With this team, I was organising o Technical service towards the worldwide sales team (ASIA, EMEA, Americas) and their customers (automotive glass producers) for NPI, technical support in case of problems and the annual requalifications o Technical complaint handling and 8D o The advising role towards production and quality control in case of out-of-spec situations and we were leading or participating in problem solving teams. o The support of introducing and releasing new equipment in production or QC o The creation and maintenance of recipes and technical specifications in KBM (ERP). o The preparation of Quality Assurance related documents, like PPAP, PSW, IMDS/CAMDS, composition declarations according to GADSL, customs composition declarations. o Technical support during the start-up and release of the production and quality control at satelites of the Maastricht facility of Johnson Matthey o The introduction of new raw materials as part of second supplier programs and cost reductions, resulting in an overall cost saving of about 500k€. • defined and monitored departmental KPI’s and goals and reported all them on a monthly basis • prepared the departmental budget for the coming year, based on the departmental goals • approval of expenses to a limit of 1 k€, • reported the departmental results for the yearly management review • Participated in interdepartmental consultations and management review

As a (technical) project manager of a multidisciplinary team, I was leading development projects (up to full release in production) for 4 new automotive black glass enamels for windshield and backlite applications, following APQP. The developed enamels can be found on the recommended product list and are actively promoted towards customers.
As a team member of a small development group (~10 employees) of researchers and process engineers, my role was • Technical project leader for the development (up to pilot scale) and characterization of new dielectric ceramic powders for application in ceramic multilayer capacitors. In this role I developed 2 new formulations and several intermediate compositions, used in new formulations • Technical project manager for the development of powders for polishing applications • Project leader or team member of lean manufacturing and cost savings projects (400k€). • Participation in discussions with customers for joint development projects.
