• Lead the end-to-end design, development, training, and delivery of Incorta’s Analytics software • Successfully align BI/reporting and EDI priorities across multiple departments and drive these priorities to production • Provide functional and technical support for EDI related issues occurring during the Oracle EBS R12 order-to-cash process (OM, Shipping, and Invoicing) • Collaborate with the multiple departments to design and develop critical financial, delivery, production, purchasing, forecast, and sales reports • Create BI training materials and program used to educate all local and national end-users • Tune existing SQL and stored procedures for manufacturing, inventory, sales, forecasting, shipping, and finance reports to achieve an average response time as dictated by the IT SLA • Facilitate and manage the EDI life cycle with our 3PL Warehouses (4) related to the Oracle R12 upgrade and customization/additions • Responsible for EDI customer setup/mapping, system availability, and maintenance for support of documents 204, 810, 850, 855, 856, 875, 880, 846, 940, and 945. • Roll out SAP BI 4.0 (phase 1) and SAP BI 4.2 (phase 2) software to further promote self-service reporting and analytics • Report potential software and infrastructure risks and their mitigation plans to the CIO • Establish Release process that includes QA testing, QA/user approval, and tracking system
Provide enterprise data warehouse development support to ETL and OBIEE developers within an IBM AIX 5.3 and 6.1 environments. Responsibilities include maintaining twenty 2 Tbytes databases (10g) within the development and QA environments. The databases consist of partitioned fact tables, dimension tables, source base tables (ERP, WWW…etc), views, and materialized views. • Deploy and maintain Oracle DB Vault to secure HR, finance, and federal objects • Streamline and document the non-production’s database cloning process utilizing Netapp’s Snap Manager (snap/sync) • Install and configure 10.2.0.5 OEM agents on 20 server using Oracle cloning process. • Upgrade the DEV/QA databases from 10.2.0.3 to 10.2.0.4 using Oracle cloning process • Create shell scripts to monitor the database availability and the Filer’s aggregate space usage • Ensure the DEV and QA space availability by resizing volumes and recommending database refreshes as dictated by snap’s age and/or accumulated space used • Create a 11g R2 database for the data hub POC to support Quest Shareplex, Oracle Goldengate, and IBM CDC replication • Lead the data hub POC requirements with the Network and System Admin teams • Participate in Production promotion meetings to ensure standards are followed • Create database promotion project plans that are embedded into the Programs plan • Provide MV, db upgrade, agent installation, and cloning/refresh training sessions for on-site and India DBA • Document the Dev/QA database cloning process that utilizes Netapp’s Snap Manager • Tune critical Executive Dashboard’s and Win-Loss’ OBIEE queries utilizing indexes (bitmap and b-tree), partition pruning, and materialized views • Work with ETL developers to optimize and monitor the data load process using IBM InfoSphere DataStage • Team with Developers to optimize the update statements for large partitioned fact table (50 million row+) utilizing partitioned temp tables
Built and managed a global team of 8 (US: 4; India: 5) engineers that provide 24/7 EAI coverage in a mission critical, non-stop Enterprise Service Bus transactional processing environment. Worked cross-functionally with other IT and non-IT teams to define, organize, and drive projects. Responsibilities include but not limited to development of appropriate documentation, work-breakdown structures, resource utilization, and resource scheduling. I grew the QA entity to a 2 Engineer team that is responsible for all EAI functional, load, and performance testing for all of IT. A major strategic accomplishment included 2 successfully multi-million dollar projects (20 mill+) with minimum resulting issues and within the given projected timeline.
