- Working with 8 account managers over Sussex and Surrey to ensure they keep a smooth and solid relationship with their clients. - Building and booking bespoke advertising campaigns for each clients needs and generating creative ideas for what works best for them on air. Other organisational skills including: - Responsible for managing and recording Heart Sussex & Surrey's revenue. - Utilising stats such as RAJAR listening figures and careful planning to maximise the potential delivery of campaigns for our clients.
Being the face of Heart in the community and at events around Sussex and Surrey. Keeping a solid relationship with our current listeners whilst encouraging new ones to join in and be a part of Heart!
I first completed two years at Bournemouth University to earn my Foundation Degree in Radio Production. I then extended my qualification with a third year and further developed my skills to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Radio.
My main position was as co-host on "The Bunch" - a weekly drive time show with music, games, guests, student discussions and interviews. I was also part of the production team at Nerve Media which meant creating On-Air imaging such as jingles and stingers, and promotions for local establishments.
Being part of the Nerve News Team was a rewarding experience. I was under the wing of trusty Anushka Naidoo and had the duty to research and write news, collect interviews with students and relevant people, and of course, present live bulletins at various points of the day, including weekends. My favourite event was presenting an outside broadcast covering Bournemouth University's Student Council elections with Lucinda Horsley (Former Broadcast Journalist at Brighton's Juice 107.2)
I produced a 1 hour programme which was commisioned by "Off The Chart Radio" The programme was called "Rail Road Records", an informative music show mainly covering my personal favourite music genres - Blues, Country, Rock 'n' Roll, Jazz and Americana. I independently researched, wrote, presented and produced this programme.
