This role involved working with the different sourcing teams of the bank to record and document the various vendor engagements relating to the procurement function, and helping streamline this process to create internal efficiencies.
As part of the databases team, I worked towards optimizing the returns on the sales and marketing investments of the major exhibitions organized by the business, which included the Big 5 portfolio as well as ADIPEC. This role required internal database management as well as value added analysis and insights that helped our sales and marketing teams target and focus the right kinds of exhibitor as well as visitor profiles.
1. Helping clients understand their retail marketplace issues and providing them relevant insights into these issues as well as suggest action points to address these issues. 2. Providing clients regular dashboard reports to help their decision making process, as well as ensuring highest data accuracy and formatting standards on them in addition to providing verbal and written assistance to them. 3. Assist the clients in crafting their marketplace strategies by providing them syndicated data as well as conducting external online research if required. 4. Creating special one-time reports for the client as per their mentioned requirement and ensuring that they were as customized and comprehensive as possible for the respective client/issue.
1. Updating the client’s regular deliverable reports on a periodic basis, i.e weekly, monthly and quarterly as well as ensuring data accuracy and formatting standards on them as per client guidelines. 2. Making required changes to the report templates (the templates were in Nielsen proprietary Advisor format, called .WSP files) as per client specifications. 3. Quality - checking the data in the client databases to ensure latest generated data was valid and accurate. 4. Creating ad-hoc reports for the client as per their requirement and ensuring that they are as customized and comprehensive as possible for the respective client/issue. 5. Making business issue presentation decks which were requested by the client to answer a particular question, either to analyze their past performance or to choose the most effective strategy regarding a particular product category/market.
