Greater Edinburgh Area
Currently working in practice in Edinburgh, Scotland, I am an architecturally trained artist and designer with interests spreading across several design fields, all of which in some way contribute to my passion for creating insightful work. My studio work throughout my Masters in Architecture (MArch) at The Bartlett (UCL) focused on heritage, preservation and demolition, winning The Dean's Student Art Prize and The Narinder Sagoo MBE Drawing Prize at The Bartlett Summer Show in July 2022. My postgraduate thesis work at The Bartlett framed my perspectives on the acts of preservation and demolition through an organic and sustainable building cycle. This written work, supported by studio work, achieved a first-class grade. With thanks to Architectural Historian and Thesis Advisor Dr Joshua Mardell, I was invited to present the research at The Royal College of Art in January 2023 as Guest Lecturer.
Working on projects such as Union Chapel Sunday School, Aldenham House, Bournville Village and The Universities of Brighton and York. This varied between RIBA work stages 0-5.
Through invitation I presented my MArch studio and research based studies to the then cohort of MRes Architecture students, followed by an open discussion centred around the students and their own thesis topics.
Part 1 Architectural Assistant operating between RIBA work stages 0-4, being given full responsibility over several projects throughout their early phases. Responsible for studio website and social media outlets.
