Centrally Grown is a destination location featuring a farm-to-table Restaurant, Gourmet Market, and Gardens. As Director of Operations, I was in charge of developing and enforcing policies, procedures, and daily operations of all divisions. I directly supervised all divisions, which included business development, construction, county planning, landscaping, farming, and countless more. My role included the management of daily tasks, goals, milestones and deadlines. My budget of over $30M went towards the purchase of residential and commercial real estate, the construction, remodeling and expansion of both commercial and residential buildings, staffing, labor, and inventory. Once constructed, my focus moved to Market & Restaurant Development for a destination location, which included menu development, kitchen design, market design, customer experience, event development, catering, food truck operations, decor, functionality, POS systems, technology, inventory, table management, customer experience, media and more. In addition to this commercial venture, I was lead in the discovery, negotiation, purchase and development of almost 500 acres of rolling hillsides, forest, streams, and 4 residences. These contiguous properties were host to executive retreats and vacation rentals, complete with educational programming, outdoor activities, and food and entertainment. I led the team in the development of infrastructure for water and electricity, tying together networks of wells and solar arrays. This challenging opportunity allowed me expand and exercise my talents and abilities as circumstances changed on a daily basis. My position was extremely demanding, but i could not ask for a more satisfying role.
