End to end accountability for the Consumer Lending business whilst leading the prioritisation and delivery of Consumer Lending initiatives that support customers and strengthen ING’s proposition in the market and deliver on our brand promise. This role forms part of the broader Retail Bank Leadership Team. Additionally took on responsibility for ING's Wealth Tribe from Feb '23 that encompasses ING's Insurance and Superannuation portfolios.
End to end accountability for the Daily Banking business whilst leading the prioritisation and delivery of Daily Banking initiatives that support customers and strengthen ING’s proposition in the market and deliver on our brand promise. This role forms part of the broader Retail Bank Leadership Team.
Accountable for product and financial performance of Consumer Term Deposits for the Westpac Group. The primary objective of the role is to develop and execute customer centric strategies to significantly uplift customer satisfaction and deposit performance across all brands. This includes being accountable for; financial outcomes, market & competitor analysis, the end to end customer proposition and delivery of product services to our sales teams.
End to end lifecycle management responsibility for the Consumer Term Deposit product across all brands within the Westpac Group.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, I worked within the deal, separation & wind down streams for Lloyds International related to the $1.45 billion sale of Lloyds Banking Group’s Australian assets to Westpac. Across the whole programme, I was involved in and managed a large variety of activities including notably the question & answer process for four separate bidders concurrently. Liaising throughout with the deal advisors (Goldman Sachs), lawyers (Minter Ellison) and bidders directly, this involved screening requests, producing answers in conjunction with the business whilst ensuring that responses were relevant, within strict SLA timeframes & appropriate in relation to the question posed.
Completed the Lloyds Banking Group Finance Graduate Leadership Scheme in August 2013 after undertaking four placements in different areas of the Group whilst also studying towards the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification. The scheme is designed to develop core competencies expected of a finance professional whilst also nurturing those qualitative competencies designed to fast-track future financial leaders. Placements completed included; 1. Finance Business Partner, Lloyds TSB Personal Current Accounts - Retail Banking 2. Executive Support to Antonio Lorenzo, Group Director, Wealth, Asset Finance & Group Corporate Development 3.
