Research on optical bio-sensing Worked in the frames of the project FP7-IAPP-2009 SMARTSOCKET – “Intelligent amputee sockets employing real time advanced photonic sensors for optimum fit and pressure relief through active controls”. Developed FBG-based pressure/shear sensors on polymer material to be embedded on medical/orthopaedic equipment.
