Held positions in the aerospace arena, nuclear power business and turbine development prior to joining GE. Retired after 27 years with GE where he held leadership positions in domestic and international power systems businesses focused in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He co-developed and led the Continuous Process Improvement initiative across GE. He was project leader at GE R&D Center and program manager/educator at the GE Management Development Institute in Crotonville, NY. He developed and led implementation of New Product Introduction and Risk Management across the company. He was a member of GE's Six Sigma Quality team and Master Black Belt. After retiring from GE he was VP of Juran Institute and has been a private consultant. He is author of Continuous Process Improvement, The Free Press 1991 and How to Handle Risk, Xlibris, 2017 plus many GE business training and educational courses.

Led development, documentation and implementation of a New Product Implementation methodology in all GE businesses. Integrated Six Sigma tools and techniques into all business methodologies for appropriate implementation by teams and individuals to ensure targeted application vs. broad spectrum inoculation.
