Semi Retired and just working part-time.. Due to the 'Out-sourcing' of all Security and Medical Response throughout Tata Europe on a Europe wide contractual basis. (I am now Semi Retired). Early Retirement and Voluntary Redundancy was an option for myself (and one other) after I had successfully pursued relocation for all my staff to other areas and positions within the Company. To be accountable for the Works Protection Department delivery of Entire Site Security Measures, emergency preparation and emergency response (Security, and Medical). Responsible for the direct management and leadership of staff to maintain consistent high standards in the provision of a first line medical emergency response, assistance in fire emergencies, and effective defense from theft, fraud, arson, vandalism, sabotage and acts of terrorism.
Originally offering this service free of charge on a charitable voluntary basis. Approached by the company owner to develop and co-ordinate the service to be offered to Social Services on a national basis. Additional responsibilities as Team Leader and liaison with Police, Court and Local Authority Inspectorate.
To provide a comprehensive estimating and support service to the Construction Industry. To liaise with Engineers, Architects and Surveyors, on both national and local construction companies and multi-million pound projects.
My own company formed to provide a complete Surveying and Estimating Service to the Construction Industry. The Company provided a personal and postal estimating service nationwide. The company closed due to a national recession in the building industry.
