I've worked for decades shooting and editing for broadcasters around the world - Channel 4, ITV, ABC, RTL, Sky. I'm fully equipped to shoot 4K and HD on the Sony FS7, with plenty of lights, mics and editing equipment, ready to travel anywhere you may wish to go. I'm not your average multi-skiller: I was an editor for fifteen years, finishing up with an MA in documentary editing at Australia's national film school, AFTRS. So, not just a damned fine DP & lighting cameraman, but a damned fine editor as well. Lately though I've been writing with a view to directing: two television series and a feature length documentary. And I'm about to direct a music video.
A 7 part action thriller. An 8 part documentary series. A feature length documentary.
A few years ago I returned to my original career path as a cinematographer, working on a number of short films, a comedy pilot, commercials and a music video. Many of them I edited, some of them I didn't. Check 'em out:
Channel 4 News is undoubtably the most respected television news outlet in the UK. Punching way above its weight, it was fun to work on because they love quality pictures and give you the time to get them. This is as close to filmmaking as news gets.
Filmed a one hour documentary about the Governor of Lagos, Babatunde Raji Fashola, for Nigerian Television.
