I’m a Virginia Tech graduate currently working as a Field Engineer for Hensel Phelps on the Maryland Purple Line Stations. I’ve always found a great interest in construction as well as the communities that are built upon its foundation. I am thrilled to be starting my construction career on such an impactful project for the DMV community.
Maryland Purple Line Stations
Supported learning in BC 2014 - Building a Strong Foundation through grading, instructing, and advising students. BC 2214 - Why Buildings Stand Up through in class support, student tutoring and grading. BC 2104 - Building Effective Teams through grading and classroom management.
Northern VA Data Center Project Responsible for door, hardware, and frame tracker that assisted with addressing 30+ issues. Communicated with subcontractors daily to develop a clear installation and paint schedule. Created a 400+ item pre-punch completion list that was distributed to subcontractors. Supported the Clark Project team with submittal tracking.
Commercial Restaurant Renovation Created a 3-month budget forecast and schedule capturing over $300,000 of expenditures for a commercial renovation project. Coordinated with the City of West Palm Beach, FL to arrange right of way permits for 2-month road closure. Communicated with material and equipment suppliers to track invoices and deliveries.
