Projects I have worked on as Project Manager: - Logistics: Transportation & reorganization of assets across our EU network after divestiture - Installation of a new CHP plant & boiler house, with impact on several of the existing utilities systems to bring savings while increasing energy sustainability. Project scope: civil scope for the new equipment, a complex integration of the new equipment into the plant, a repair and replace plus upgrade of the existing fumes extraction & incineration system, which was previously the only heat source of the utilities plant. - Installation of a new pilot plant; with several steps of the production process in lab or pilot plant scale. It enables the R&D department to research and test on lab and pilot plant scale, before testing on the actual production lines, which reduces losses on production time and increases success rate for innovations. - Modification of a packing line from packing material arrival to finished product truck loading to run additional pack sizes. - Roll out to all production lines of an innovation project to completely redesign a part of the production process. Both civil and equipment scope had to be installed in limited production down time in the middle of an operational plant, while also introducing a new CIP system. This project delivered a reduction in production losses and increased the change over efficiency.
Technology owner within European Engineering for Utilities, with responsibility for the Utilities long term masterplan while leading the Utilities scope of every project. - HVAC masterplan: installation of several new HVAC systems, modifications to reduce condensation within the production area, several food safety upgrades, clean design equipment - Utilities for a new production line including HVAC, water systems, compressed air, CFD simulation for & installation of a new baking fumes extraction & treatment system - Lead engineer for a contracted engineering company to install a full new utilities plant for a brown field production facility. Installation of a new High Pressure Steam boiler and integration into an existing Medium Pressure Steam system & boiler house; installation of a new generated gasses plant, waste water treatment plant (civil + equipment), HV room and emergency generators, water treatment & hot water systems, cleaning systems, sanitary water, compressed air plant and network, ammonia/chilled water plant and chilled water network (civil + equipment), cooking fumes extraction and treatment, natural gas network, cooling towers, HVAC system

- IWS Education & Training leader, responsible to manage and improve the internal training systems, implement training plans & skill matrices in all site departments of 2 factories with in total about 800 people (production and support functions) - Start Up leader in a Project to introduce a new Production data system, responsible to update all operational reporting tools & train the operational teams for input and reporting.
I had several roles in operations: - Teamleader for various operational areas: Utilities, Raw Materials, Warehouse & Scrap, (De-)Palletizers, up to 36 people, including maintenenance planning. - Departmental Systems owner for TPM/IWS (AM, E&T), maintenance, break down elimination - Energy coordinator: Energy budget owner & Kyoto energy reduction program leader, raising awareness and coordinating energy reduction projects or kaizens.
