After having executed the role of contract manager within project management during 4 years in several offshore wind projects, I have taken on a new role within the business to support and guide the procurement department both in a commercial and contractual way. As a project purchaser, I proactively make suggestions for purchasing large subcontracting scopes within the project team, both for the offshore wind and the civil industry, and developing new suppliers and maintaining existing relationships. Further, I create, execute and maintain the supply chain plan within the project team whilst having a proactive attitude about suggesting improvements within the procurement process and overall business strategy. As a contract manager within the procurement department, I strive for protecting the business's and project's interests whilst also trying to translate supplier specific requirements into balanced relationships.

ELSA Leuven organizes every year a couple of legal trips to New York city, Paris, The Hague... These trips include visits to other universities, consultancy and lawyer offices. Besides the more formal visits, the students get the change to discover the cultural, historical and social life of these metropoles.
