Gaëtan de Royer has been a public affairs' consultant at C&I since 2003. He advises the local economic development players. He supports their efforts to secure funding and subsidies, and helps them to adapt better to national and European policies concerning competitiveness and regional development. He defines communication strategies for states that aim to attract investment. He has been in charge of an institutional communications programme for a major Mediterranean state for over seven years. Within this context, he defines “made-to-measure” monitoring programmes, participates in the drawing up of arguments, manages university and expert networks and organises high-level meetings within the media and political spheres. Gaëtan de Royer also intercedes in lobbying and public relations dossiers on behalf of clients in heavy industry, and the building, agriculture and transport sectors. Gaëtan de Royer is a graduate of the Grenoble Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Grenoble (Public Services section) and has a DEA in Applied Economy from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (international commerce section). He is a fellow at the Université Paris-Dauphine, and lectures in several higher education establishments (Sciences-Po, HEC).
