I’m a Senior Consulting Engineer at MongoDB, where I work with Fortune 500 companies, unicorns, mid-size organizations, and startups to help them get the most out of MongoDB. My work spans the entire product lifecycle—covering migrations, architecture design, performance tuning, scaling, security, and ongoing optimization. I partner with customers to solve complex data challenges, ensuring their deployments are resilient, efficient, and aligned to business needs. In this role, I collaborate with consulting engineers, project managers, and account executives to deliver high-impact outcomes. Acting as a trusted advisor, I guide teams in adopting MongoDB best practices, designing scalable architectures, and building resilience into their systems. I also share real-world customer insights with Product and Engineering teams to help shape future product improvements. Previously, I served as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Victoria’s Secret, where I managed mission-critical deployments for one of the world’s most recognized retail brands. My focus was on cloud architecture, automation, and performance optimization—ensuring reliability, security, and scalability at global scale. With over 12 years of experience in the IT industry and certifications in AWS and Kubernetes (CKA), I’m passionate about reducing operational overhead, strengthening system reliability, and turning complex challenges into solutions that deliver real business value. • Help customers successfully migrate from self-hosted MongoDB (on-prem or cloud) to MongoDB Atlas, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum performance. • Support clients across the full application lifecycle - from portfolio assessment and planning, to design, deployment, development, and release. • Design and implement scalable, secure deployment architectures tailored to customer needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fellow consulting engineers, project managers, and account executives to deliver high-impact outcomes. • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them adopt MongoDB best practices and optimise their deployments. • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to help shape future product improvements based on real-world customer use cases.
• Reduced Azure cloud costs more than $100,000/month. • Achieved 100% on time and on budget deployments for all projects. • Managed a process re-engineering project to improve and consolidate end-to-end service processes; restructured communication flow among dev departments & infra department which cut down the deployment time by 50%. • Led a cross-functional team of NOC and infrastructure engineers, driving collaboration, execution, and consistent on-time delivery.
• Managed to migrate company's Gitlab on-prem repo to cloud Github successfully before the stipulated deadline. • Architected and completed migration of on-premises to AWS cloud of Nexus2, Teamcity & company's leading application/product. This migration helped company to closed the on-prem data center and saved huge cost on infrastructure. • Improved system performance by 50% and increased system stability by implementing a number of proactive system health checks. • Actively guided and mentored team members in their daily work, offering hands-on support and feedback to help them grow and stay productive.
• Collaborated with clients throughout to understand their customise requirements, provide them with best solution. • On boarding existing application, performing knowledge transition from Development team to SCM team on build and deployment process. • Setting up entire CI-CD pipeline for more than 10 projects,Planning and Deploying application for hosted customers without any hiccups. • Automating the workflow and processes using Jenkins and Ansible. • Served as Technical Lead, guiding and monitoring a team of 8–16 engineers while overseeing day-to-day shift operations and ensuring smooth delivery.
• Developed tasks for promotion of war/jar files for deployments using api calls. Administered multiple Application servers/Web servers for any release and deployments. • Introduced Puppet for the execution of automated tasks which improved the overall quality of the deployments. • Wrote scripts to deploy applications to different environments and created a build pipeline using proprietary tools.
