Convener, Inaugural International Arbitration Competition, 2025 Led the successful organisation of the first-ever International Arbitration Competition at our institution, held on March 1–2, 2025. Managed a core team of 30 dedicated members and coordinated the efforts of 100+ volunteers across logistics, research, hospitality, and communications. Oversaw end-to-end planning, including outreach to 200+ law schools, framing arbitration problems, and ensuring seamless execution of the event. Convener, 3rd Intra Mediation Competition, 2024 Spearheaded the planning and execution of the 3rd edition of the Intra Mediation Competition. Led a team of 30 members and coordinated over 60 volunteers across various departments including event logistics, scheduling, judge coordination, and participant management. Trained and supervised a team of 60 volunteers for efficient on-ground coordination and protocol management. Core Organizing Committee Member 1st National Med-Arb Competition, Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur | March 18–19, 2023 Served in multiple roles including PR & Designing, Logistics, and Core Committee. Played a key role in event execution and trained 20 volunteers in operational support, design, and outreach tasks.
Regulatory Compliance: ▪ Conducted extensive research under the Information Technology Act, 2000 for intermediaries handling financial communication. ▪ Analyzed regulatory obligations under the DPDP Act, 2023, Consumer Protection Act, DPIIT Guidelines, Copyright Act, and Trademark Act in the EdTech sector. ▪ Reviewed compliance under Bureau of Indian Standards and Customs regulations for exports to Indonesia. ▪ Examined NBFC eligibility criteria under the RBI Framework for Business Finance Companies. Corporate & Securities Law: ▪ Researched on ESOP cancellation rights in cases of resignation/termination without misconduct. ▪ Evaluated valuation norms for private company shares—face value vs. market value vs. discounted sale. ▪ Studied legality and compliance of shareholders and LLPs providing loans to companies. ▪ Explored issuance limits of convertible notes by startups and other entities. ▪ Reviewed legal succession of shares when shareholders die intestate. Contract Law & Dispute Resolution: ▪ Drafted a Section 138 Demand Notice under the Negotiable Instruments Act. ▪ Researched enforceability of indemnity clauses for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses under Indian law. ▪ Assessed cross-border remedies in arbitration for breach of contract with foreign parties. ▪ Studied works contracts and service agreements for regulatory impact. Drafting & Documentation: ▪ Drafted: Reply Notice, Executive Agreement, Collaboration Agreement. ▪ Authored a legal newsletter on SEBI’s Master Circular for LODR compliance (NCS, SDIs, CPs). ▪ Proofread and reviewed: Shareholder’s Purchase Agreement, MOA, AOA. Due Diligence & Transaction Support: ▪ Reviewed sale deeds for stamp duty accuracy and legality of transfers. ▪ Assisted in due diligence of vehicle loan documents and insurance policies. General Legal Assistance: ▪ Researched legal implications of share transfers after a co-owner’s demise under the Maharashtra Housing Co-operative Societies Act, 1960.
