About

Privileged to serve as the Co-Founder and CEO of EmerTech Innovations Pvt. Ltd., a deep-tech company incubated at IIT Bombay and IIM Lucknow. Chairman- Research & Innovation Committee, Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA). It's the apex body of Maharashtra and completing 100 years in 2027. At EmerTech, we build AI- and blockchain-led platforms that bring traceability, regulatory compliance, and sustainability to some of the world’s most complex supply chains. Our systems have been deployed across agriculture, textiles, rubber, footwear, food systems, and industrial networks. At Sahyadri Farms, India’s largest farmer collective, we implemented over 5.2 million blockchain-backed QR codes to trace produce from soil to shelf. Similar transparency frameworks now support cotton-to-T-shirt production, Kolhapuri chappal clusters, and compliance programmes for Apollo Tyres, BKT Tyres, and Peterson Control Union, including regulations like the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR). My journey into this field began with India’s first state-led blockchain governance pilots in Chhattisgarh (2017–2019), conducted with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IAS officer Alex Paul Menon. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of being invited to present at the UK Parliament and interact at 10 Downing Street, speaking at Metaweek Dubai, Swissnex Switzerland, and, most recently, sharing our work directly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I’ve also been honoured to be named a 'Future Leader' by the British Council, selected as a 'Dalai Lama Fellow' at the University of Virginia, and invited for blockchain research by Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council. Writing and research remain an important part of my life. Papers on society, history, and technology have been published in journals across the USA, UK, Italy, and Latvia, and I published articlesfor the Indian Express Group (Loksatta), BBC News, Sakal Marathi Newspaper, etc. My Marathi book, ‘Sakhaliche Swatantrya’, the first book on blockchain in the language, has reached more 10,000+ readers. I hold a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad; an MBA from IIM Lucknow; and a Leadership & Policy certification from Churchill College, Cambridge. I also serve as a Board of Studies member at universities, contributing to curriculum design. Across all these experiences, one idea has stayed constant: technology must serve people. Innovation becomes meaningful only when it is paired with empathy, clarity, and purpose.
