I’ve been deeply involved in creating framework-level components that enable teams to move faster while maintaining consistency, performance, and reliability across the ecosystem. A significant part of my work includes leveraging technologies like Apache Ignite to build high-performance distributed caching and computation layers. Beyond implementation, I actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape architectural decisions and ensure our platform evolves in a way that supports diverse and growing business needs. I also play a key role in design and code reviews—driving engineering excellence by emphasizing clean architecture, performance optimization, and long-term maintainability. At this level, my goal isn’t just to build systems, but to build systems that other engineers can confidently build upon.
As an SDE II at Amazon, I was part of the Devices organization, building systems responsible for device registration and lifecycle data management for millions of customers. I designed and implemented highly available, scalable services on AWS to ensure seamless device data handling across regions. My work focused on building resilient backend systems that could operate reliably at scale, with strong emphasis on availability, data consistency, and performance. I collaborated closely with product managers, partner teams, and other engineering groups to translate business requirements into robust technical designs, ensuring that solutions were both practical and future-ready. In addition to core development, I contributed to improving system design standards through code reviews and best practices, while also mentoring junior engineers to accelerate their growth and productivity. My role required balancing speed with long-term system reliability—delivering solutions that could scale with Amazon’s growing device ecosystem.
