St. Dominic's is the largest and most dynamic Catholic parish in San Francisco with over 3,000 members of all age groups and is a magnet for young adults and new arrivals in the city. Our faith community is made up of spiritually mature and active Catholics, returning Catholics finding their way, as well as those who are just curious and seeking something more. An active and vibrant parish is also a small non-profit organization that requires experienced and effective administrative leadership. In my role, working in partnership with the Pastor, I'm responsible for all financial operations of the parish; human resources management; and oversight of the church facilities and grounds; in collaboration with the Dominican friars who serve as the pastoral staff; a renowned director-level team and many dedicated members of the staff and Parish community.
As the chief administration officer of a large and vibrant Jesuit Catholic parish on the campus of the University of San Francisco, I reported to the Pastor, Fr. Greg Bonfiglio, S.J., assisting him with fulfilling the mission of the Parish. I led all administrative operations, supervising everything from financial operations and investments; human resources; and preservation of the historic church building opened in 1914. Among my proudest accomplishments are strengthening the lay leadership model; transitioning the HR and benefits systems; implementing a new cloud-based data and development infrastructure on Salesforce; and improving the financial health of the Parish.
