(1) Facilitate strategic engagements for MTI's Political Office Holders with key stakeholders such as Trade Associations & Chambers (TACs), industry players and businesses. (1) Conceptualised, developed and drove Silver Generation Office (SGO)’s internal and external communication strategies. (2) Distilled and curated complicated government policies and schemes into easy-to-understand information for staff and volunteers. (3) Managed and translated the key materials for senior engagement in four different languages. (4) Designed weekly bite-sized infographic for dissemination of policy/scheme to staff and volunteers. (5) Assisted in the planning and operationalisation of SGO’s 5th Anniversary and Appreciation event for more than 2,800 participants, including PM Lee as GOH. (6) Managed and rendered secretariat support to SGO’s senior management meetings as well as Merdeka Generation Communications & Engagement Taskforce (chaired by SMS Amy Khor and SMS Sim Ann).
(1) Supervised a team of about 30 Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) to communicate senior-centric government policies and schemes to Singaporeans aged 65 and above living in Jurong GRC, Bukit Batok and Yuhua SMCs. (2) Worked closely with community stakeholders including the grassroots, Social Service Agencies and other government agencies, e.g. People's Association, Loving Heart Multi-Service Centre, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities, etc. to implement outreach strategies to our seniors. (3) Managed regular recruitment of new volunteers while maintaining the performance standards of existing ones. (4) Solicited vital ground feedback from seniors via outreach to improve current government policies and schemes. (5) Coordinated and hosted 5 Basic Trainings and 16 Community Networks for Seniors Trainings for SGAs.
(1) Led and undertook in-depth research of major clients and acquired knowledge of various industries. (2) Spearheaded and coordinated Community Engagement Programme, Ground Sensing Programme and Leadership in Crisis Communication Programme with Ministry of Education, OnePeople.sg, Institute of Technical Education, Singapore Police Force and Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore. (3) Led the company's government GeBIZ ITQ process. (4) Kickstarted the inaugural "Ground Sensing and Appropriate Response" workshop with National University of Singapore Students' Union. (5) Achieved above 4 out of 5 rating in client’s post-workshop evaluation.
Relief Teacher (GCE A Level H1/H2 China Studies in English) at Pioneer Junior College. (1) Spearheaded H1 & H2 China Studies in English remedial sessions for the weakest 20% of students. (2) Achieved more than 90% of students attaining As or Bs. (3) Assisted with JC2 H2 China Studies in English students with their Independent Study (Research Paper). (4) Facilitated and hosted the 2013 China-Quotient Teachers’ Forum. (5) Edited the publication of the book "1911 Revolution: Singapore Pioneers in Bukit Brown". (6) Consistently received positive feedback and evaluation from students and colleagues.
