Gary Wong is the Head of Innovative and Strategic Partnerships for Weixin Pay Southeast Asia at Tencent. Gary is responsible for driving cross-border payment solutions, building strategic partnerships with financial institutions and fintech companies, and positioning Weixin Pay as a leading digital payment solution in Southeast Asia. Before joining Tencent, Gary held key roles at Ant Group and Bank of China (Hong Kong)
Project Management for e-Finance related initiatives including Cross Border e-Commerce Platform, System Enhancement for SVF licensees in Hong Kong, Online Supply Chain Development and BOC QR e-Wallet. Facilitate collaboration with external parties, including Fintech starts-up, App Developers, Payment institutions and Telecom Operators.
