P&L responsibility
Group CEO with P&L responsibility for the businesses within the Group. These included civil engineering, micro-tunneling, MEP, building, asphalt production, concrete batching and plant all across a regional focus. Gary directed the business through a clear and well grounded plan and the focus drove both growth and productivity improvements.
Responsibilities include setting up and managing the mechanical engineering company created for the detailed engineering and construction of the 8 x 800MW boiler units at the new Medupe and Kusile power stations and other oil & gas new build and maintenance projects in South Africa.
