I have over 34 years of maintenance support for US Army Military Intelligence Systems. I am currently a Information Security Engineer 2 supporting the 10th Mountain Division at Ft. Drum, NY. I have over 35 years of experience in technical and management areas supporting the Intelligence Electronic Warfare Systems of the US Army which includes computers, computer software and networking.
10th Mountain Division Field Software Engineer. Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and teaching DTSS, and DCGS-A systems. Responsible for Dell R610 & Dartfrog servers, Cisco 3560 switches, Netapp FAS2020/2040/2240 storage devices, Dell Precision Laptops, Sun V490 Servers and Tadpole Bullfrog II XPG Workstations. The Installation of the Distributed Common Ground System – Army (DCGS-A) software onto a server stack includes: - Setting up the redundant array of independent disks (RAID) - Setting up the Cisco switch - Deploying and configuring the Windows Server 2008 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.0 Virtual Machines (VMs) - Making adjustments in VMware to the VMs and to the VCenter settings - Re-imaging the Dell Precision laptops with a master image via Ghost or Acronis

Supported the Distributive Tactical Exploitation System (DTES) at Fort Drum, NY and at various locations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Ensured complete system was operational at all times. Performed maintenance/troubleshot SUN servers, Windows servers, Window workstations, system network, routers, switches, tactical satellite systems and 60kw generators.
