Provided logistics and program management expertise and served as a sounding board and trusted agent for all things related to his duties and responsibilities, including logistics/strategic planning, outside data calls, budget input/updates, program risk assessments, program review materials, etc. • Functioned as the logistics Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Distributed Systems Group (DSG). Tasked to ensure that supportability implications and affordability considerations were addressed at every level of the development process for the Shallow Water Surveillance Systems (SWSS), a R&D program, from system requirements development through the critical design review.
• Provided direct support in the following Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements: Supply Support, Manpower and Personnel, Technical Data, Training and Training Support, Facilities, Design Influence and Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T). • Authored and reviewed training materials and other technical data, conducted formal and informal training and audited formal training courses for U.S. Navy programs.
• Part of a three person team tasked to move and set up TCI’s West coast office and support the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) transition from Arlington, VA to San Diego, CA. • Provided direct transitional support to the Joint Maritime Communications Systems (JMCOMS) program office by providing continuity of logistics support services as their acting logistics manager during the move.
• Entry level position tasked with providing manpower and training services to a newly formed contractor support team. This team supported the U.S. Navy’s Integrated Undersea Surveillance System (IUSS). • Developed and reviewed technical data and was a key contributor during the Navy’s rating consolidation of the Ocean Systems Technician (OT) rating into the Sonar Technician (STG) rating.
