Chief Postal Inspector Barksdale oversees all operations of the Postal Inspection Service, including National Headquarters, 17 Field Divisions, USPIS Support Service Centers, and the National Forensic Laboratory. Additionally, Chief Barksdale leads over 1,200 Postal Inspectors, more than 550 Postal Police Officers, and nearly 600 Support Personnel. He is the Chairman of the Universal Postal Union’s Postal Security Group and reports directly to the Postmaster General.

CPI Barksdale manages supervision of over 1,200 postal inspectors, 550 postal police officers, and nearly 600 support personnel. Additionally, he chairs of the Universal Postal Union’s Postal Security Group and reports to the Postmaster General.
