Provide authoritative counsel to the Director General while acting as a primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders on matters pertaining to the Office of the Director General. •Ensure that effective direction and integrated management of all organizational activities remain in line with the strategic vision and mandate of the Director General. •Provide expert advice and strategic analysis on major political/economic/social developments and enumerate their broader implications on climate change, agriculture and global food security. •Drive the translation of complex policy, organizational intent and high-level guidance of leadership into viable roadmaps with enumerated benchmarks and deliverables. •Lead organization in cross-functional projects and initiatives in conjunction with relevant members of the Senior Management Team. •Monitor, analyze and synthesize information on emerging and future trends and advise the Director General on strategic approaches to local, regional and global geopolitical challenges. •Curate the Director General’s high-level meetings and visits, including strategy development, coordination with ground teams and development of all briefing materials, speeches, reports and presentations.
