Leading a team of 24 people, under six elements of Business Excellence; Lean, LBP, Six Sigma, CIP, Applications and Training. Manage Site wide and Organisational Projects to improve Systems, Processes and Products using the Business Essentials toolset. Serve as a change agent and problem solver within and outside the site. Drive, coach and mentor individuals completing complex projects that improve our Core Metrics in Safety, Quality, Service and Cost. Assist Leadership Team in making informed decisions based on facts and data for complex situations. Specifically manage the Engineering Essentials training processes for the site to close any gaps and upskill internal staff.
- Management of assigned Process(es), to ensure safe, economic and timely production in the required quantity and quality in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and registration requirements. Quality on Time in Full (QUOTIF) - Investigate, follow-up on and resolve process deviations. - Process optimisation: Continuous improvement of assigned process(es) with a view to improve cost, yield, quality and throughput. Quality, Yield, Cost, Throughput.
- Created awareness and promoted, advocated and communicated the importance of the Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy implementation on site. - Identified, delegated & completed priority CI Lean SixSigma projects. - Assisted in creating a shared vision of the purpose and aims of the organization, helping each colleague/employee understand and recognize their part in contributing to CI. - Provided support for the Human Error analysis and reduction programme. - Maintained OpEx standards through ongoing benchmarking.
