Professional career I have worked for Beswicks Solicitors LLP t/a Beswicks Legal since 2007. I joined the firm as a paralegal. I qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined the Dispute Resolution Team. I was promoted to Partner in January 2017. I am currently Head of Dispute Resolution and a member of Beswicks Sports Law team. I have very diverse experience of contentious proceedings including in the following forums: County Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, FA Arbitration, FIFA Arbitration, Proceedings before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. A significant proportion of my current work involves strategic pre-action / pre-dispute advice. Dispute Resolution Legal Practice I have a broad and diverse range of experience in civil litigation (predominantly commercial and property litigation) in the County Court and High Court, strategic pre-action advice and mediation including (but not limited to) actions relating to, general injunctive relief, declaratory relief, breach of contract, professional negligence, suretyship law, insurance, Post Termination Restrictive covenants, partnership and shareholder disputes, trusts of land, land rights, economic torts, fraud, misrepresentation, restitution, Landlord and Tenant, defamation. Sports Law Practice I have acted in many sports related disputes the majority of which being football related matters. I have acted in proceedings before various FA, Premier League and Football League tribunals and arbitral panels and appeals to the CAS including acting for and against former Premier League Club Champions and players and clubs at various levels.
