    Head of Skills employed at the AMRC Training Centre. This state of the art facility delivers apprenticeship training in Engineering from Level 3 to Level 7. The AMRC Training Centre also delivers STEM training and CPD training in a variety of engineering technical areas. I concentrate mainly on the management of the foundation training team, the management of the workplace coach team and the delivery of the Apprenticeship programme both in centre and in the workplace. As part of the AMRC Training Centres executive team I work at a strategic level to ensure the the AMRC Training Centre meets the needs of both our employer base and the local areas skills requirements. The Training Centre delivers Manufacturing Engineering Apprenticeships in Machining, Mechatronics Maintenance, Engineering Manufacturing Support Technical, Engineering Fitter, Metal Fabrication at Level 3 as well as L4 Automation and Controls and Engineering Manufacturing Techician and L6 apprenticeships such as Control Systems Engineer. I also plan and my team deliver a variety of technical commercial courses. I am heavily involved in the day to day running of the Training Centre, employer engagement, the development of the various curriculums. My day to day role involves the management of Foundation Skills and Development Competence delivery on Engineering Apprenticeship Standards. As a member of the AMRC TC Executive Team I lead on strategic development of future apprenticeship standards with our external partners. This includes working on various trailblazer groups revising the apprenticeship standards.
