An experienced professional in the field of public interpretation and programming. Since 2011, I have worked or volunteered with historic sites developing and implementing new and innovative public programming throughout Western Canada.
Overseeing the visitor experience and managing educational and public programs within a museum setting. I spearhead the coordination, marketing and implementation of new programs, including First-Person Interpretation tours and special events.
Working within the Heritage Conservation Branch, my primary role was to assist municipalities wishing to protect a property through the Heritage Property Act legislation. Other duties involved assisting with the implementation of the Main Street Saskatchewan program with both accredited and affiliate communities; assisting with the design and implementation of the new heritage database for the Government and liaising with the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation to discuss grant eligibility for protected properties.
