As a hands-on professional with solid experience in Electrical Engineering, I bring a strong foundation and a practical approach to my work. I am an alum of the Siemens Technical Academy, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of the field. My educational journey also includes completing a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from K J Somaiya Polytechnic and earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues Institute of Technology. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive knowledge base and a keen analytical mind. Currently, I am working at Burns & McDonnell as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), where I am gaining valuable industry experience and contributing to innovative projects. My role allows me to apply my academic learnings and hands-on skills to real-world challenges, enhancing my problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting expertise. Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a passion for 3D artwork creation using Blender and coding. I am committed to continuous learning and growth, always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills. Whether it's through tackling complex engineering problems or exploring new technologies in my free time, I am driven by a desire to innovate and excel.
As an intern at Instasine, I explored the details of active power factor correction and automatic harmonics compensation devices. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the functionality of these devices and the fundamental power electronic components involved, along with their proper handling. During my tenure, I actively contributed to the production line, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the assembly of these devices. This immersive experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also equipped me with problem-solving abilities. Addressing issues during assembly without compromising production timelines became a key aspect of my role, further solidifying my practical knowledge in power electronics and manufacturing processes.
As an intern at Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission, I gained valuable insights into the intricate components of substations. My focus was on understanding maintenance procedures, involving the meticulous scheduling of shutdowns to ensure the smooth operation of the substation. During this experience, I also learned firsthand how to handle situations during fault occurrences. This involved a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to troubleshoot and address issues promptly. The internship not only deepened my understanding of substation operations but also provided me with practical knowledge in maintaining and managing critical electrical infrastructure.
I joined Siemens PD-SLN as a technician through the hiring agency Ajay Engineering. pvt. ltd. My responsibilities included making crucial modifications to electrical drawings based on customer requirements. I excelled in creating detailed cable and termination schedules, ensuring precision in the implementation of electrical systems. My on-site responsibilities involved liaising directly with customers to understand their needs and incorporating necessary changes in drawings and cable schedules. Additionally, I actively participated in the commissioning phase, conducting thorough testing of IOs and providing support to DCS engineers. A key aspect of my role was facilitating the online integration of substation panels, contributing to the successful commissioning of projects. This experience not only honed my technical skills in electrical engineering but also allowed me to cultivate effective communication and collaboration skills while working directly with clients and fellow engineers.
