About

Gage Mettler grew up in Walnut Creek, California, and was involved in Student Council and ASB leadership throughout all levels of schooling. In high school, Gage was a three-sport varsity athlete and captain of the wrestling team for three years, leading his team to a North Coast Sections championship and qualifying for the state tournament Senior Year. Academically speaking, he graduated with a 4.23, having taken numerous Advanced Placement courses. Outside of school. Gage was an active volunteer in his community. He was a three-year camp counselor for a local elementary school, served as an anti-drug and alcohol Youth Educator for the local middle school, and was a two-year Link Crew leader that helped freshman transition into high school. Regarding work experience, Gage was a swim team coach for 3 years, worked as a CPR certified lifeguard for four years, and worked as a nanny for a family of three. In college, he has already served on both the executive board of the College of Arts and Letters and his fraternity, while maintaining high levels of academic success and campus involvement. His diverse academic and extracurricular activities provide him with a strong, widely applicable skillset.
