About

I am a Political Science student at Sciences Po Paris, specializing in Latin American, Caribbean, and Iberian politics, with a growing academic and professional focus on international security, foreign policy, and Mexico–U.S. relations. My academic path has taken me from Mexico to France and California, including an exchange year at The Claremont Colleges, where I focused on border dynamics, migration, Latino history, local governance, and the political relationship between Mexico and the United States. This experience strengthened my interest in understanding how diplomacy, public policy, and security institutions interact across borders. I am currently gaining professional experience in the Department of Political Affairs at the Consulate General of Mexico in Los Angeles, while preparing to begin my Master’s studies in International Security at PSIA – Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po. My long-term goal is to contribute to the strengthening of public institutions through evidence-based policies that improve coordination, accountability, operational efficiency, and public trust, while upholding democratic values, transparency, and human rights.
