1) Mount Vernon Funeral Parlour Complex (National Environment Agency) Role: Design Engineer • Performed structural and geotechnical design for Earth Retaining or Stabilising Structures (ERSS) and Geotechnical Building Works (GBW) for two-storey basements (~12 m deep). • Conducted finite element analysis using PLAXIS 2D to assess excavation stages, wall deflections, and ground movements. • Designed and checked temporary works associated with basement excavation and construction. • Prepared design calculations and documentation in compliance with BCA and Singapore Codes of Practice under the QP(D) scope. 2) Tengah Gardens C1 & C2 (Housing & Development Board) Role: Design Engineer • Assisted the Executive Engineer in preparing design calculations for partial Structural (ST) and As-Built submissions. • Reviewed and checked Request for Approval (RFA) submissions, with focus on pile eccentricity and constructability issues. • Supported coordination and compliance checks under the QP(D) contract framework. 3) Maritime House @ Cantonment Road (Maritime and Port Authority) Role: Accredited Checker (AC) Representative • Acted as AC representative to independently counter-check QP(D) designs from piling and ERSS works up to roof level. • Reviewed GBW works (piling and ERSS) as well as non-GBW structural works for design adequacy and regulatory compliance. • Identified potential design and constructability issues and provided technical feedback to the design team. 4) Teban Heights (Housing & Development Board) Role: Qualified Person Supervision (QPS) Representative • Served as QPS representative overseeing daily site activities to ensure works were carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. • Reviewed and responded to RFA/RFI submissions, addressing technical and site-related issues. • Attended site coordination, progress, and technical meetings with stakeholders on behalf of the QP(D).
1) IOI Properties Group Berhad Role: Structural / Infrastructure Design Engineer • Managed and designed structural and infrastructure works for a 6.23-acre show village development, comprising 1 Sales Gallery, 2 single-storey semi-detached show units, and 6 kiosks, from concept to project completion. • Coordinated design development across multiple building types, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, authority requirements, and construction sequencing. • Provided technical input during construction to address design queries and site coordination issues. 2) Tasek Maju Realty Group Role: Design Engineer Designed 222 units of 2-storey terrace houses (22' × 70') at Taman Mutiara Maju Phase 2 up to tender stage. Prepared structural drawings and calculations for tender documentation. Liaised with local authorities for design submissions, approvals, and inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely approvals. 3) EcoWorld Group Berhad Role: Design Engineer • Designed 64 units of 2-storey cluster houses (22' × 85') at Taman Eco Botanic 2 up to Building Plan (BP) submission stage. • Prepared and coordinated structural design calculations and drawings for authority submission. • Supported submission responses and revisions to address authority comments.
