Lead all aspects for the day-to-day operations of development and communication activities including planning, organizing and executing campaigns and programs while developing strong relationships with organizational leaders and B2B relations with internal and external agencies. Grow events and donor bases for clients and guide them in establishing strategies to enrich donor pipelines. ◆ Manage multi-million dollar capital campaigns, major gift donations, donor recognition programs, online fundraising campaigns and charity fundraisers for high growth educational institutions in the U.S. and abroad, including Yeshivat Noam, Torah Academy of Bergen County, Hadran and Teaneck Holocaust Commemoration. ◆ Source and secure up to $1MM in annual funding capital that supports the creation, development, and implementation of programs and campaigns.
Oversaw program operations across Public Relations, Communications and Admissions including human resources management, office processes, marketing, and student engagement. Led practical and strategic marketing and communications planning with integrated branding and messaging. Supervised and managed staff members; led meetings. Managed the operation budgets and oversaw department resource allocation. ◆ Supported the development and implementation of student programs, resulting in the acquisition of $800K in annual philanthropic revenue and achieving a 70% increase in revenue growth in 2 years. ◆ Served as the Chief Development Officer overseeing the planning and launching of major gift events, creative sponsorships, major gift solicitations, auctions, and successful donor cultivation, attaining $9.9M in annual revenue for student programs and engagement.
Managed daily program and process operations to include administrative oversight of departmental programs, budget, and planning for short- and long-range success of school program. Mentored and evaluated faculty and staff in all performance areas; evaluated program to inform new campaigns. Coordinated and communicated with faculty, staff, parents / family members, students, alumni, and supporters. ◆ Contributed to strategic planning for school program across multiple areas of study including academics and social programs through integration of a $4.5M crowdfunding campaign that exceeded goal by 50%. ◆ Collaborated with Senior VP, VP’s for Alumni Affairs, Institutional Advancement, Marketing, PR and Annual Giving on University-wide campaign that developed strategic vision and implementation of development programs. ◆ Skillfully supervised and coached a high-performing team of 60 staff and 200 students, staff and faculty volunteers.
Oversaw logistical and administrative support for marketing and communications programs including gift accounting, donor stewardship, events, communications, social media, and community outreach. Planned, implemented, and assessed major events and special projects while developing strategic vision for the organization. ◆ Managed program development and community outreach supporting a 3,000 member organization and contributed to the development of student development programming. ◆ Generated $150K+ in annual contributions by implementing community development and internal partnerships. ◆ Secured $75K U.S. Homeland Security Grant, resulting in increased security for 30K square foot building. ◆ Launched and evaluated innovative, vibrant programs including the Hazak Senior and Scholar-in-Residence Programs. ◆ Coordinated and executed large scale event fundraisers including annual gala, monthly journal, auction & annual appeal, achieving $500K within one year; prepared annual funding reports.
