Responsible for managing the overall $2.7B budgeting, rolling forecasting, and reporting functions for the Corporate Affairs division, including CRE, Legal Affairs & Labor Relations, Gov't Affairs, and Corporate Security departments. Developed capital budget for all AA departments proposing facility projects. Responsible for the administration of ~1,000 leases for airport and off-airport properties, as well as day-to-day auditing, approval, and accounting & payment process of ~600 active construction projects. Managed close to 1,000 legal matters.
Led the Financial Controller group for IT organization. Managed the overall budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of total IT expense across all of AMR Corporation. Conducted analyses to evaluate the economic sustainability. Collaborated with IT portfolios to develop strategies for technology spending.
Financial Controller for domestic airports. Responsible for developing $2 billion annual operating budget including financial and operational target setting, and presentation to AMR CEO for review. Provided all analytical support for field operations. Worked with various employee groups, unions, and consultants. Also served as a liaison between Airport Services teams and other deparments within AMR.
